Scripps Ranch
Scripps Ranch is an upscale San Diego suburb located just east of I-15, north of Tierrasanta, and east of Mira Mesa. A popular residential neighborhood for families, Scripps Ranch offers a ‘small town’ feel.
The schools in Scripps Ranch are good, and the community houses a recreation center, library, and many parks including Miramar Lake. There are two distinct areas of Scripps Ranch, one is the original area, and one is the newer, northern community.
The older section of Scripps Ranch feels like you are in the woods. Streets are lined with Eucalyptus trees. It feels like you’re in the county although close to all. The newer area of Scripps is located off Scripps Poway Parkway. This community has homes features homes built in the 1990’s. There are a number of townhome communities here as well as detached homes. The newest subdivision on Scripps Ranch is Stonebridge. Located in rolling hills with stunning views of the east county, these are large estates and start in the $700K range.
In fact, Scripps Real estate is comprised primarily of houses and townhomes. There are only a couple of condo complexes in this community. Houses start at $500K and work their way up to over a million dollars. Townhomes offer a less expensive opportunity to move into a great neighborhood. These are priced as low as $350K.
